We have just completed our 8 week Pawsome Puppy Course with cocker spaniel Jaffa.
The course was well run and professionally delivered by knowledgable trainers. The Ready Steady Puppy videos were really helpful prior to attending and not only gave us a good start, but will be a resource to dip back into as required.
Each session gave us opportunities to meet other puppy owners, compare notes and then have advice and support from Tash, as well as recieving well structured sessions which helped Jaffa learn new things.
This course has been an excellent start and we will be back for the Puppy Progress Course.
Would recommend the course to all new puppy owners, there is always something new to learn.
Thank you Tash and Debbie.

We really enjoyed this course. It was interesting to learn the reasons why puppies behave in the ways they do and there were always useful tips and things to practise each week. The weekly handouts emailed to you help you to remember what to practise each week too.
I also found the 4 Puppy Social sessions included in the course to be very helpful for getting my puppy used to being around other dogs and for helping me to understand how we should handle these meetings too. I found the course so beneficial that I then did the follow-on Puppy Progress course and the Reduce Jumping workshop!
The harness loan and fitting scheme offered by Potter Paws is also a great idea and we have had several checks and adjustments on the harness, rather than having to buy new harnesses. Potter Paws also sells some very tasty items that my puppy loves.

We took our puppy to Potter Paws for their Pawsome Puppies course, and loved it so much we immediately booked puppy progress when the course was finished.
The class sizes are small, there was only five of us in our class, so we got plenty of time with the trainers and I felt looked after the entire time.
We've seen a massive improvement in our pup in focus and engagement, even just learning in a controlled environment with other dogs around has been so, so useful. What I loved most about the course is the supervised interactions and add-on puppy socials, we've learnt how to manage our pup saying hello to other dogs in a much more healthy way, and it's great to see his confidence grow after some bad interactions when he was younger.
Would 100% recommend to anyone who has just gotten a puppy.

I took my Westie Pup Ronnie along to Potters Paws for his first training class which was Pawsome Puppies and it was so good for him to see other dogs and their owners! The course was for 8 weeks which seemed to fly by! Only 6 puppies in each class! At the end it was so lovely when we got given a rosette and a certificate for completing the course.
Debbie and Tash are amazing trainers and all instructions were very clear and if your dog didn’t do what was asked it was ok, there was no pressure to make them do it. Both trainers are friendly and you can ask them anything and they will use their knowledge to try and help you. Not just in your training session but anytime! They always answer any question and problems you have if you e-mail them they will get back to you with help. Ronnie loved Tash and young Yaz who helps out and always gets excited when he sees them. It’s a great way for you to get to know your puppy at training and each week you can take home what you have learned and can carry on with your own dog. You get e-mailed a sheet every week of what you did in your class so if you forget something you can refer back to it. We are so pleased we are now on the next course which is Puppy Progress. You also, get 4 puppy socialising sessions included in the Pawsome Puppy course which was so good for Ronnie interacting with other dogs but also, learning how to stay away from them as well.
Also, you can buy treats, leads, toys and assorts in the little shop they have!
I can’t recommend taking your dog along to Potters Paws enough, it’s a great start to your puppy life and also it’s good fun too!

Potter Paws were recommended by a friend when I got my first puppy and I wouldn’t look back. The puppy course is informative, helpful and stimulating. Debbie & Tash are both really friendly, informative and approachable. Rafa gets excited as soon as we start going down the drive and can’t wait to get out of the car. We have built some really good foundations for future development and it’s really helped us both to understand each other. We’ll definitely be returning to Potter Paws for more courses and socials.
Thank you!!!

Kiwi & i came to the brilliant Pawsome Puppies. As a new and first time dog owners, the class was brilliant! As there were only 6 of us, it was personal and noone got lost in the crowd. The farm is an excellent setup and Tash was fabulous. Every dog had an off week but we learn't so much. The handouts/summry sheets are great as I often go back to them to refresh and re-vist what we learnt. Esy going & fun with training without knowing we were being trained!
Puppy progress next - thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed the Pawsome Puppy class!
Each class is different and a new skill is learnt every week with refresher sessions at the beginning of each class.
Attending the course gives you and your puppy a routine and significantly improves your relationship with your 4-legged friend.
We noticed a huge different week on week, and have continued in our training with Potter Paws many months after!

So, so glad that a friend recommended Pawsome Puppies.
We learnt an incredible amount during each session whilst having lots of fun bonding with our puppy and were able to put it all into practise straight away.
The weekly information sheets and vast library of blogs and videos we had access to through the course were amazing, covering topics we hadn't even considered.
Debbie and Tash are so welcoming and knowledgeable I've always felt able to ask them questions.
We are currently doing the Puppy Progress class which is a natural progression and are looking forward to trying out other Potter Paws classes in the future.

We had our Puppy booked in for pawsome puppies at the beginning of the year. It was all online classes via zoom due to covid and it was excellent. It covered everything we wanted to for our new puppy and we still keep up with the skills we learnt from Tash. We can’t thank her enough for all the help received.
We will be looking to do another course hopefully towards the end of the year where we can interact our dog with others. I would highly recommend potter paws for all puppy/ dog training and needs.

I attended Pawsome Puppies classes with my little Amy from age 10 weeks back in December, as it's 20 years since I last had puppies.
We attended the first 3 sessions in person and the rest via zoom. I wasn't sure how or even if it would work via zoom, but it absolutely did. Tash was great - so knowledgeable and experienced, and I learned so much from her in the sessions, as well as feeling reassured by hearing from other puppy owners. Their zoom sessions on other general issues such as biting, were also a life-saver. Just knowing they are there and available to ask questions helps me feel reassured.
I would definitely recommend Potter Paws and look forward to attending more training in the future.
Thank you Debbie and Tash!

Originally booked with Pawsome Pups before Xmas, as were the only classes being run that I could find still being 'physically' (socially distanced) run, and was a bit wary of the success of 'Zoom' classes. However, after 2 sessions, the country was plunged into lockdown and Zoom was the only way to go!
Only 3 pups in our class, so it was very personal training! The Zoom method works a lot better than I thought it would and with the homework given at the end of each class, I was motivated to work with Ralphie, our Bearded Collie pup, every week and able to give positive feedback on his progress at every class and discuss all the problems that crop up with most puppies! I thought that he would miss the 'socialisation' aspect of the physical classes, but there have been plenty of dogs and people out for their lockdown 'exercise' on Ralphie's walkies - he has probably met many more than he ever would have done had we been in our 'normal' world!
Highly recommend Potter Paws - a good introduction to training for your puppy. Have fun with your pups - they grow so fast!🐾🐾

We attended Pawsome Pups with our cocker and were delighted with the classes with both Debbie and Tash!
The classes helped us to create great foundations in a fun and relaxed environment. We learnt lots about pups behaviours, body language and mental stimulation and always had the chance to ask any questions specific to us and our pup! Thank you Debbie and Tash!
