We were lucky enough to find Potter Paws a couple of years ago and have had lots of fun developing new skills (leading to canine employment), stonger bonds and ways of giving our Spaniels a more fulfilling life. Along the way we had focused a little less on the basics of an everyday walk. Lead and Learn looked like a way to refocus on this and improve all of our skills, behaviours and enjoyment. Our experience has been so much more, with great support from both trainers, Debbie and Tash, as well as like minded humans with their dogs, it feels very relaxed, non judgemental and safe regardless of the many real-world settings we experience (parks, shops, cafe's, garden centres) and it's great to look forward to situations with the group that felt somewhat daunting before.
I highly recommend this training, a really calm and pleasurable way of learning.

Having completed a few months of 1:1 sessions with my rescue Spaniel, we have now moved onto Lead and Learn which is a great training option in the real world. We have visited a full range of environments, with other dogs, and with both Tash and Debbie present to guide us with training advice. This is a great next step for training after the class environment and I would highly recommend.

Bob and I have been Pottering for almost 7 years and, while she loves people (she's anyone's for a belly rub), she's never been much of a dog's dog (I'm never sure whether it's an element of anxiety or just princess syndrome). Although she does get to engage with other dogs to a certain extent in classes, there's enough room at the farm for them all to have their own space. With Lead and Learn, she gets to spend time at close quarters with other dogs, in everyday settings that she'd normally just share with me. And we have Debbie and Tash on hand to advise on any particular needs or behaviours. It's also a nice opportunity for us humans to relax and chat so, all in all, a really welcome addition to the PotterPaws portfolio.
