Hooked on Hoopers? Let's do more!
We’ll unleash your dog’s potential to reveal some seriously impressive Hoopers skills! Week in week out we have fun and we learn together. Together, we'll navigate new equipment, tackle different courses, and master impressive skills.
Hoopers is a low-impact sport that’s suitable for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and abilities. There’s no running required, making it inclusive and accessible for all dogs and owners alike. Low impact but high fun, and the ultimate physical and mental workout for your dog.
Hooping Hounds welcomes mixed abilities and we ensure you and your dog are working at the level that’s right for you. We’re welcoming and friendly and we love new members joining us. Basic obedience is helpful but not essential to enjoy the course. We recommend you complete a workshop or our 6-week Beginner course beforehand to get familiar with the basics.
By joining our friendly club, you and your dog will experience:
- Hoop skills, developing the skills to navigate a series of larger hoops
- Barrels training, manoeuvring around them from varying distances
- Tunnel navigation
- Combining obstacles to create diverse courses
- Start line/wait command mastery
- Social manners, appropriate dog interaction and cooperative work
- A physical and mental workout for your dog
- Great fun each week
- A brilliant community of Hoopers enthusiasts for you and your pet
As a member, you’ll enjoy exclusive benefits, including cost-effective training, discounts on courses and purchases, and more!
