Our Canine & Pet First Aid courses ensure you are able to help provide basic first aid in an emergency situation to your own pets and those in your care.
The course has been designed to give you basic life saving skills to initially respond to an illness or injury until you can get the pet safely to a veterinary surgery. It is ideal for pet owners but also suitable for pet professionals. The course primarily covers dogs but also covers cats, rabbits and other small animals.
During the course you will complete theory work and also some practical hands-on skills which will include the use of our resusi-dog Casper. You will be assessed throughout the course for understanding/participation; there is no 'test' at the end.
The primary purpose of this course is to;

Upon successful completion, you will receive an OFQUAL certificate which is valid for 3 years.
