Whether you're a dog lover who likes to watch dog shows or would like to enter your dog in a show, there are several fun family dog shows and dog events taking place across the three counties, this summer.  Many of these shows have classes to suit dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes as well as plenty to do to keep their human friends happy.   You’ll find tombolas, craft stalls, refreshments, lively music, agility equipment for dogs, expert advice and much more that make these days out fun the whole family will enjoy!

June Dog Shows

 

1.Bushey Fun Dog Show – Sunday 26th June 2022 11am-3pm

King George Recreation Ground, King George Avenue, Bushey, WD23 4NT
The annual Bushey Fun Dog Show returns with a great competition, dog-related stalls and fun for all the family. Show categories include Best Puppy, Best pedigree bitch, Best pedigree dog, Prettiest bitch, Handsomest dog, Best veteran, Best rescue dog, Best non pedigree, Waggiest tail and Best condition. 2.Windsor Championship Dog Show - 30 June 2022 - 3 July 2022

Home Park, Windsor, Berkshire
Dogs from all over the UK and from overseas will arrive in Windsor for the very popular Windsor Championship Dog Show – the largest event of its kind in the South of England and amongst the biggest in the UK. With Windsor Castle as a backdrop and a ‘garden party’ atmosphere it is very popular with everyone.  The Windsor Championship Dog Show is a great day out for dog lovers, with nearly 200 breeds to see over the four days.
Admission is FREE and car parking is £10 per car.  No dogs are allowed to be left in cars in the car park, under any circumstances.  Visitors who wish to bring their own dog can do so as a ‘Spectator Dog’.  All spectator dogs must be over 4 months of age, fully vaccinated and kept on a collar and lead at all times. 3.The Bucks We Love Dogs / Festival of Dogs – Saturday 2nd July – Sunday 3 July 10am-5pm

Penn House Estate, access Horsemoor Lane, Beaconsfield, HP7 0PS
The annual Bucks County Show promises something for everyone and coincides with Festival of Dogs and Festival of Cars for 2022.  Enter your canine friend in categories including ‘Dog most like owner’ and ‘My dog’s got talent’ at this fun family day.  Find out more and grab tickets now at www.buckscountryshow.co.uk/.
 

4.Bedgrove Day in the Park – Saturday 9th July 2022 9am-5pm

Bedgrove Park, Ambleside, Aylesbury, HP21 9TT
This July, bring the whole family along to The Day in the Park which takes place every other year and is organised by a sub committee of The Bedgrove Residents & Community Association (BRCA).
We’ll be there!! The team from Potter Paws will judging the Dog Show which starts at 2pm and has 10 categories including: ‘Dog the Judge would most like to take home’ and ‘Best Trick’ with the winner of each category to receive a Rosette and goodie bag prize!  It costs £1 entry per dog with all proceeds donated to charity. 5.Summer Fun on the Field – Sunday 10th July 12-4pm

National Animal Welfare Trust Bedfordshire’s best Loved event is back for a fun day including a dog show, stalls, refreshments and general fun in the sun! 6.The Agility Club 2022 Show – 22-34 July 2022

Hertfordshire County Showground, St. Albans, Herts, AL3 7PT
This July, for all agility lovers out, the Agility Club Championship and Premier Kennel Club Show comes to St Albans, with classes for all sizes and grade of dog. There will be qualifying heats for the most prestigious events such as Crufts and Olympia, as well as hosting their own Agility Club Starters Agility Challenge (Grades 1-2), Junior Handler (Under and Over 12) and Invitational finals. 7.Beaconsfield country Fayre Dog Show – Monday 29th August 11am-4pm

Windsor End, Beaconsfield Old Town
This is a very popular event with around 5000 people attending and with all profits going to local charities and the Thames Valley air Ambulance . 8.DogFest – Saturday 10th September 2022 9.30am-5pm

Knebworth House, Hertfordshire

9.Buckingham Dog Show – Sunday 11th September 11am-2pm

Bourton Park Paddock, Bourton Park, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, MK18 7AB
The annual Buckingham Dog Show is back this year to crown the best pooch in town! Registration will start from 11am and then judging will commence from 12pm. Application forms can be picked up at the registration table on the day or you can print one and fill it out before arriving. Classes include: ‘Cutest Puppy 5-12 mths’, ‘Waggiest Tail’ and ;Junior Handler 16yrs & Under’ with the winner of each class going through to Best In Show.  There will also a host of doggy based stalls and entertainment to browse on this fun family day out.  Find out more at www.buckingham-tc.gov.uk/event/buckingham-dog-show-2/.
