Do they pull you all the way to the park?
Would you like to enjoy your walk together?

The Lovely Leads course was very helpful for us. We learnt lots of useful tips and strategies to use, which have helped a lot with the pulling. It's an ongoing process with Eva, but having the weekly handout to refer back to us very handy too, as sometimes you forget what you're meant to be focusing on to help.
I would definitely recommend this course to any dog owners who have difficulty having calm, enjoyable walks with their dog!

What an absolute essential course for all dog owners whose furbaby constantly pulls on their leads when out walking. We learned so much in a fun and friendly atmosphere … Debbie was absolutely brilliant!! Buddy was engaged and totally stimulated- he so enjoyed his Saturday afternoon training sessions (and so did I) … thank you for everything!! Highly recommended - don’t delay … BOOK

A great course put together by trainers who seriously love their job. We noticed an immediate improvement and it has helped with the issues that I had experienced when walking Winnie. Simple ideas that work, even other doggie owners who we have become friends with have noticed the changes and it makes me more relaxed to enjoy my time outside with her. Winnie loved it and we are looking forward to further training with Potter Paws. Thanks ladies.

A very well put together course with lots of information and helpful tips in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. Logan can be distracted by other dogs but I would prefer him to ignore them and to focus on me and we have learnt a lot from this course and this has really helped me work with him when we are out walking. I would highly recommend it!

Attended lovely leads with Rolo. We thought the training was very informative and also interesting. Part of the training was to follow the other dogs and also to walk pass each other without making a fuss. Also to walk comfortably on the lead at the same time. It works and can be a success. Highly recommend Potter Paws courses.

We have just finished lovely leads with Tash and can see a huge improvement in Walter's lead walking. The course was full of helpful advice and practical exercises in a really friendly and non judgemental atmosphere (important for me as Walter can get very over excited and boisterous). He really enjoyed the course and lead walking is quickly becoming something we can enjoy (rather than endure). We had lots of fun and laughs on the course. Thanks Tash 😀

WOW! What a difference!
When we saw the photos from the previous lovely leads course the idea of Ruby walking nicely by our side seemed completely unachievable, but with Tash and Debbie’s support she smashed it! The guided techniques were easy to follow and have changed our walks more than I even thought possible. Thank you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course with my puppy Roxy, I wanted more confidence with letting her off the lead and walking on the lead as she’s very excitable around other dogs. Managed a few face to face classes and the rest via Zoom due to lockdown- all classes were super helpful and I’m putting the things we’ve learned into action on each walk. Roxy now walks really well both on and off the lead- well recommended class- thanks Debbie!

Bob is a 2 year old mad spanner (Cocker / Springer mix) who just loves to run, scooter and explore. I like her to have as much off lead time as possible but she also needs to be able to walk calmly on lead from time to time. We've taken the lovely Lead course a couple of times in person as well as the zoom classes during lockdown and having the online course available to dip into whenever we (by which I mean me) need a reminder of some of the useful techniques for enjoyable lead walking. We're still a work in progress but when I look back to Bob's first on lead forays, she's made huge strides. I don't think we'd have done nearly as well without Debbie's expert guidance. I've learned an awful lot - not least to see training as fun in its own right rather than something to be endured to achieve a particular goal. Since we found Potter Paws, we've had a great time together and with new friends, furry and human.

Our cocker spaniel puppy was so bad when on the lead, constantly pulling and making our daily walks more of a chore than a pleasure. Our Lovely Leads course was hosted virtually but it still worked really well from the comfort of our garden. We picked up skills to help keep Archie's focus on us, which has really helped reduce the pulling. The best thing is that he now sits down every time I stop, especially at the corner of the road, which is so helpful! He's not totally stopped pulling, but he's 75% better and we're now in a position to understand why he was doing so in the first place. I'd definitely recommend this if you struggle walking - now it's actually a joy to take him out again.

Really enjoyed our training with Debbie small groups and outside with plenty of space , and she had time for any questions i had related to the course or not , with dogs under control all the time, unlike some other trainers i’d been too , where more time was spent keeping dogs apart,

Picture the rabbits pulling the sled of Radighast the Brown in Lord of the Rings...that was my Bob from day one, once I was able to take her out on lead. She's a Sprocker Spaniel (working Cocker / English Springer) and wants to do everything at 200 miles an hour. Still a work in progress but doing Lovely Leads has made a huge difference and we can now do 'proper' walks.
